Our surface mounted plate latches match original English patterns. They work by a simple spring operation and are highly durable. Plate latches are available with our Classic Colonial brass knob, oval knob, or stirrup drop. The privacy night latch feature can be made inactive upon request. Particular attention to detail can be found in our Old English Crinkle finish which is standard on plate latches. (OEC) is a seven step hand painted textured finish.
